Breast Lift With Implant
Breast Lift With Implant
It happens to everyone: breast sag is the result of older, inelastic skin that's unable to accommodate weight loss in the breast caused by pregnancy or dieting. If you have breasts that just aren't as perky as they used to be, you probably think about it quite regularly. That's because sagging breasts can make it difficult to fit into the clothes you used to enjoy. Furthermore, they just don't feel the same either. For most people like this, a breast lift is all they need to set things straight. However, for more serious cases of breast sag, a breast lift with implant may be necessary.
The goal of any plastic surgery is not perfection. It's about improving a person's appearance from their current state. With the breast, a breast lift might not be enough for serious cases of sag. If there is a lot of loose skin, it just wouldn't make sense to remove most of it just to bring the breasts back up. In these cases it would make more sense to augment the size of the breast with an implant so that less skin would need to be removed.
The procedure
A breast lift with implant presents no additional challenge to a plastic surgeon. Both surgeries require incisions that are complementary to either procedure. That means that a patient who only wanted one of the surgeries can easily have the other completed at the same time.
Whether you're a patient considering breast augmentation or just looking for a breast lift, the combination of the two techniques is often the best way to achieve the look you desire. For breast lift patients, an augmentation can help to fill out the shape of the breast if they didn't have much breast volume to begin with. For breast augmentation patients, a breast lift could help prevent the enlarged breast from beginning to sag under the weight.
Of course, a breast lift with implant is not for everyone. Your best bet is to speak with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. Depending on your personal circumstances, a breast lift with implant could be a better choice for you.
Most patients of a breast lift with implant enjoy the look of their breasts. They tend to me more youthful, full, and shapely compared to breasts resulting from one of the surgeries alone. If sagging breasts have always nagged you when you dress or when you're out on the town, think about a breast lift with implant. It could completely revitalize your appearance and give you the self-confidence that you lost once your breasts started to sag.
