Palo Alto Plastic Surgery

“Palo Alto” is Spanish term for “high tree.”  The reference is an actual aging redwood tree at the north end of the city, which forms the border with Menlo Park.  The Coast Redwood, called El Palo Alto, is 1061 year old and stands 110 feet high with a base diameter of 90 inches.

That Spanish tree and then El Camino, Yerba Buena, Rinconada, Miranda Avenue…many of the Spanish names in the Palo Alto area represent the local heritage.

Undeniably, the name “Palo Alto” has a Spanish heritage attached to it.  But the city’s age does not rub on the present community though, as many are wise enough to partake of Botox® Cosmetic, brow lift surgery, facelift, and laser skin resurfacing for good youthful measure.

The City of Palo Alto, just south of the Peninsula south of San Francisco -- about 25 miles, at 66.4 square kilometers is relatively small.  The city with around 58,600 residents is part of Santa Clara County, in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.

Silicon Valley and possible research works on plastic surgery in Palo Alto

Would anyone know what prepared for the foundation of Silicon Valley?  Not even Hewlett-Packard (HP), when it started operations in a garage at 367 Addison Avenue.   Today, while not open to the public, the house and garage were recently restored by HP.

Located at the northern end of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto today is home to several successful high-technology companies as well as small startups operating in garages – perhaps going the HP way.

Silicon Valley’s Stanford Research Park on Page Mill Road is right snack in Palo Alto’s territory.  Here, the likes of Facebook, Genencor, IDEO, Space Systems/Loral, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (technology law firm) and VMware are crowding and better serving the city’s bustling economy.

Interesting sites in Palo Alto

Palo Alto is home to Stanford University. The school offers cultural, athletic, natural and educational resources to Palo Alto residents and visitors.  Worth the ckeck is “the Dish” – a 150-foot diameter Stanford University Radio Telescope.  The ‘Outdoor Sculpture’ includes a massive collection of large scale works by Rodin in garden immediately adjoining the University’s museum of art.

Other interesting sites in Palo Alto include the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center, and the 1,940-acre Baylands Nature Preserve -- a great place to hike, bike and watch birds.  There elegant homes on tree-lined streets, some of which date back to the 1890s, in Oregon Expressway, which forms part of the northern half of Palo Alto.

The city’s main shopping district is on University Avenue between El Camino Real and Middlefield Road.  Situated here is the Stanford Shopping Center, a large upscale mall that features more than 150 stores to include Nieman-Marcus, Nordstrom's, Bloomingdale, and Macy's.  The next best shopping destination is on California Avenue between El Camino Real and Alma.

A vibrant shopping location would not be complete without the provisions for whims like a good cosmetic enhancement. More than scampering through the mall, finding a board certified Palo Alto cosmetic surgery doctor who can offer free consultation, on top of guaranteed low price procedures, is stress-free through MyBodyPart.com.  More than anything else, the website provides comprehensive plastic surgery information including the benefits of plastic surgery and effects of cosmetic surgery that will guide those who are contemplating on having one.
