Cost of Breast Lift
Cost of Breast Lift
Everyone would be interested in plastic surgery if it were immediately affordable. Such is not the case, however, and it remains a popular 'optional' cosmetic procedure reserved for those who have the time, money, and willingness to pursue it. Some of the most popular requests for cosmetic surgery are related to a woman's breasts. That's because a change in a woman's breast often results in a significant difference to her appearance. The complexity of a cosmetic breast surgery means that the costs are relatively high compared to other kinds of surgery.
If you've been looking to get a breast lift to balance loose, sagging breasts, then you're probably concerned about what it's going to cost you. In most cases, a breast lift is more necessary than breast augmentation. For this reason, cost of breast lift should not be a major deciding factor in your quest for personal transformation. Sagging breasts are more obvious and unsightly compared to small ones. Especially for women who've experienced weight loss or pregnancy, a sagging breast can be the bane of their daily life.
That's essentially why it's important to find a skilled plastic surgeon to do your breast lift. The costs may be higher for a surgeon who has done more breast lifts, but the fact of the matter is that you don't want complications or additional corrective surgeries later down the road.
The cost of the procedure
Costs vary from State to State and surgeon to surgeon. We can give you a better idea of what the general costs are, but first let's go through the categories of cost:
A certain portion of the cost of breast lift surgery is associated with the facility. You will pay for time used in the operating room, administrative activities, and equipment costs. There are other fees associated with standard medical tests that are necessary to ascertain your health before the surgery. The largest cost is associated with the surgery itself. Costs afterwards comprise mainly of dressings, post-operative corrections, and prescription medication.
For the surgery, you can expect to pay at the very least $3,000 for a simple breast lift. For a really good surgeon you could be paying up to $8,000. If you decide to simultaneously augment your breasts the price usually increases by at least $1,000.
Facility fees, lab fees, and prescriptions never exceed a few hundred dollars, with most being well below this threshold.
