Once you have made the personal decision that you want to change the way that you look, to finely tune the face that you already have, you are going to want to know what exactly the cost is going to be.

In the plastic surgery industry processes tend to be fairly similar. There are so many plastic surgeons out there that the competition has led to some price stability but in terms of eye lift cost there are some things you should be aware of.

Eye lift costs tend to be reasonable because they have been around for some time, and the industry has near-perfected the procedure. The standard upper and under eye lift procedure will probably cost you around $4,500 depending on who you go to. But there are three other factors that you should keep in mind.

Price Gouging

Nobody is perfect and nobody ever will be, but some doctors will try to convince you otherwise. When you go in for your consultation, the doctor will quote you a price, recommend a procedure, then begin mentioning other procedures that can be done simultaneously to get rid of wrinkles and blemishes.

Before you know what has happened, the cost has tripled and your self-esteem is rock bottom. So If you are set on one procedure just remember why you are getting it and don't be fooled.

Ancillary Costs

These often include fees for the surgical center, the fee for the anesthesiologist, other lab studies and X-rays, not to mention pre and post operation medications. Plus, these all go on top of the money you will lose by not working during the recovery period.

So when your eye lift cost is quoted make sure that it is an estimate on the total cost, not just the portion of which the doctor will bill you for directly.

Some doctors will have package deals, or special relationships for these services, but it is up to you to make sure you are getting the lowest possible total cost, not just eye lift procedure costs.
