Penile Liposuction

There are lots of male plastic surgery procedures gaining popularity, including the main one that women will never have to contemplate. Penis liposuction is sometimes incorrectly used term for a procedure that is supposed to increase the penis (not decrease as penis liposuction would suggest). Length as well as circumference can be enhanced, an inch to two and a half inches longer and up to fifty percent thicker with the exception for the head of the penis.

Most penis-enlargement operations are based on slicing the suspensory ligaments that tie the penis to the pubic bone. This based on the idea that anatomically, majority of men have extra inches hidden away, inside. Slicing the ligaments works in the way that these extra inches are released outside therefore increasing the penile size. The angle of the erection will be less acute and I would guess you lose at least some control.

Unfortunately, in lots cases, body's own scarring mechanism causes the penis to retract again after those types of surgeries. This is why some doctors are suggesting using Dr. Robert Stubbs's technique of self-adhesive weight lifting once the surgery is performed. This process takes four to six months and most men find it too time consuming.

Options for increasing the penis' girth

  • Free Fat Transfers
  • Dermal Fat Grafts
  • AlloDerm

When it comes to increasing the girth (thickness) of a penis there are few options such as free fat transfers, dermal fat grafts and AlloDerm. With free fat transfer man's own fat is gathered using liposuction then the fat cells are treated to help reduce the chance of absorption and then transferred into your penis. The term penile liposuction is sometimes applied to describe this particular procedure even though the fat cells aren't being removed from the penis but are added instead.

The free fat procedure gained some negative reputation after doctors started over filling the organs. Because of a limited blood supply the fat cells started to die which often resulted in the region becoming lumpy. Currently there are special surgical instruments that take the appropriate size pieces of fat and new developed techniques are able to place them properly in the penis in a two-stage process, performed at least three months apart. Doctors will also use special nutrient solutions to help prevent the fat from being absorbed and increased blood supply to the graft.

The Dermal Graft technique is the most invasive of the options because skin is removed from a donor site somewhere on your body and then treated and transferred to your penis. The doctor can then inflate your penis by squeezing as many slabs of fat in there as you wish. The results are rather temporary since after six months to a year, the fat starts to dissolve and is reabsorbed by the body. Some places lose more than others, sometimes resulting in an unsightly, gnarled and bumpy penis.

The AlloDerm technique is the least invasive but it's also the most expensive because you have to buy the AlloDerm (processed cadaver tissue) and then it is inserted into your penis much like a dermal graft. When an Allograft dermal matrix graft is implanted into a patient, the patient's cells repopulate the graft and blood vessels grow into the graft, therefore the graft becomes part of the patient's own tissue. This process generally takes several weeks to several months before it's completed.
